Here are some examples how bullet images can be used in unordered lists.
In regular unordered lists as made with the <UL> tag the bullets that appear are browser specific. NCSA Mosaic has bullets that have a 3D look, other browsers stick to simple disc, circles and squares.
In text-only browsers like Lynx the regular unordered list is the only one that gets rendered correctly with indented word-wrapping. Because it doesn't support tables the advanced unordered list is rendered the same as the unordered list with image bullets. The CSS method also don't cause any problems in text-browsers.
