Petrus Kiers was a painter. His "Stilleven met schenkkan en vruchten" which he painted with oilpaint on canvas in 1830 can be seen in Teylers Museum in Haarlem. (Inv.nr. KS 34)
I'd like to have a picture of that painting on this page but:
Teylers Museum probably won't sell the painting, they bought it already back in 1832.
I probably won't have the money to buy it.
And even if there was a picture of that painting on this page it couldn't by far show the detail of the original. To really appreciate "Stilleven met schenkkan en vruchten" you'll have to see the original.
