The day the sun was afraid to rise, 1997
I was working on a set of cyberpunk stories, and in many stories the setting was post-nuclear. I had this vision of a day when the sun would be afraid to rise because of the disaster that took place. The only real disaster I know of is that of Chernobyl, 1986. So that is what I draw, the reactor in the sovjet winter, at sunrise.
The picture is made in ink, chalk and paint. It is actually a photo of the real picture. |
