Hendrik the Hero, 2003
Another character from the "Dutch Courage" novel. This is Hendrik the Hero, the man who put his tiny dick in the dyke, the King of Spades and Mad Jack's worst enemy.
At the time of drawing, there was a possibility I could get a job at one of Holland's largest dredging companies. This is the way I thought the managers from a dredging company should look like: nice suit, and rubber boots. Didn't get the job, though.
I like the change in drawingstyle, when compared to the more chaotic pictures of mad Jack. |
