Angrazn: The village in a golden sea

In the Golden Fields, the village of Angrazn (Angarazn in Weslanan dialect) is the central place. The weekly market, where all inhabitants of the surrounding farms and small communities sell their stuff and buy what they need, is held on the rectangular village square. On both long sides of this square, the most important buildings of Angrazn are situated. These are the House of the Village Community, The Market Hall, several Warehouses and of course the biggest temple to Gräins in the Weslanan. A brewery and a large inn (“The Fox with the Golden Ears”) make this arrangement complete.
In the back streets, parallel to the length of the Square, the people of Angrazn live in small houses. Their gardens are the border of the village - it has no walls. The highest structures in Angrazn are the windmills, of which the Arbijan-Mill is the highest. It bears the Gong in its top, and its wings are used to sign messages to the surrounding communities.

Angrazn is the centre of the wheat-production. The Golden Fields provide the wheat, that is sold in Angrazn. Bakeries and breweries manufacture the grains, and the grain export fills the treasure rooms of Tarnov, in which duchy Angrazn is situated. A lot of the merchants offer their money to the Temple of Gräins. The Elemental Religion has many faithful followers in Angrazn. Nevertheless, it is rumoured Molik has also a solid following in Angrazn. Travellers claim that the village has more secret rites than any other settlement in Daleth.
