IE 6 No More No More

While top­ics like this are still able to trend on twit­ter, you know twit­ter is most­ly used by a cer­tain kind of me­dia pro­fes­sion­als. And the oth­er trend­ing top­ics are also just what those me­dia pro­fes­sion­als are in­ter­est­ed in, not what the gen­er­al pop­u­la­tion is in­ter­est­ed in. And to il­lus­trate the in­tel­li­gence of those me­dia pro­fes­sion­als: 10 out of 12 "pop­u­lar web com­pa­nies" whine about IE6 while the code of their home­page doesn't even val­i­date:

You can of course try to con­vince your boss it's IE6's fault the site you cre­at­ed looks like shit in that brows­er, but don't go all over the in­ter­net with that crap. It makes you look like shit as well.

The fol­low­ing two sites val­i­dat­ed, but I can't see why they would have trou­ble sup­port­ing IE6:
