Last week­end I end­ed up in Ger­many. The bor­der is a bit il­log­i­cal near Di­dam so I didn't ex­pect it but Hoch El­ten is Ger­man. This is the area the ICE pass­es through be­tween Arn­hem and Ober­hausen, but this time I took the Syn­tus diesel train in the di­rec­tion of Win­ter­swijk and wan­dered around Mont­fer­land from Di­dam to 's Heeren­berg.
