I only over­slept one hour (be­cause I couldn't use the alarm of my P800 since the pow­er adapter is cur­rent­ly not al­lo­cat­ed very well). But I didn't get lost very bad­ly in the Arn­hem en­vi­ron­ment, so all I missed was the of­fi­cial open­ing of the work­shop. The rest of the pro­gram I fol­lowed was:

• Tu­to­r­i­al Netwerk pro­gram­meren: now I know what a sock­et is.
• HTTP::Proxy: nice to play with
• Hoe en waar Perl te leren
• Wan­del­ing door SpamAs­sas­sin in­ter­nals: now I know how my mail @xs4all.nl is han­dled.
• Blik­sem­praat­jes, now I want to have a project on Pow­ered by Perl
• TestCover; een in­tro­duc­tie in Test::More en Dev­el::Cover, my cov­er­age on this talk is now 200%.
• iv - een Perl im­ple­men­tatie van een pop­u­laire plaat­jeskijk­er: Tk is also nice to play around with.

At the au­tion I bought 2 more Perl Pock­et Ref­er­ences. The beer BOF was nice as usu­al, and over­all this work­shop thing is a sol­id event.
