I've a dead AIWA HS-JX2000, a dis­func­tion­al Beosys­tem 10 and an im­prac­ti­cal Beo­cen­ter 4800. So I was kind of look­ing for a tapedeck for a while. There's noth­ing wrong with wild­ly ex­pen­sive rock sol­id tapedecks, but the thing they are re­al­ly good at is play­ing back tapes that have been record­ed on the same sys­tem, which is not ex­treme­ly use­ful for just play­ing back some old tapes. For that pur­pose and be­cause it would match my NAD 310, NAD 800 and NAD 541i I thought a NAD 613 would be nice to have. This evening I could buy one from some nice peo­ple in Zwi­jn­drecht and I'm lis­ten­ing to it now, very pleased. To­mor­row I'll ex­per­i­ment with some Sony Me­tal Master and Dol­by NR stuff, tonight I was to lazy to set the timer and counter to 1337 be­fore tak­ing the pic­ture, sor­ry about that...
