Last week­end was Queens Day in The King­dom of The Nether­lands - a day ear­li­er than usu­al be­cause the 30th was on a sun­day, and she isn't even born on the 30th of 29th of april, con­fus­ing - so I con­sult­ed Google earth and head­ed for Ober­hausen, Ger­many by ICE. In Ober­hausen is was just a nor­mal sat­ur­day with the jam packed mall open till 20:00. And the Ruhrge­bi­et still be­ing a sur­re­al in­dus­tri­al zone with it's Rhein-Herne canal, spaghet­ti rail­way lay­out and a Jäger Fan-Shop.
