You seem to be a wannabe graphic designer

Since it came up, again, allow me to retort. This isn't aimed at mr.madsen, who had the balls to quit his job to pursue artistic integrity and is therefore an example for all wannabe mr.madsens.
The real issue is sites like stopie6.org, stopie6.com and regular whining about IE6 on LinkedIn Answers. While those sites pretend to be helping IE6 users to a better place, for a web developer it's obvious the benefits for the user to update it's browser are negligible compared to the benefits for the not so skilled developer to make the user update and drop IE6 support. But those not so skilled developers live in their own blogosphere and totally lack the skills to convince the regular people that are the IE6 users to change their browser. Their argumentation is more like a contest for people who like to piss off, the in their view, Untermenschen that work for some corporate company that is not using the latest models MacBook, and that doesn't help. I'm not saying this post helps, mainly because you'd need the IP addresses of all wannabe graphic designers whining about IE6 to have it only target the right audience of a site, but at least I don't go registering a domain name for it to pretend it matters:
The best thing is of course, you can just add "because mine is too. I use IE6" to make it work for the opposite point.
And if you're wondering why can't I read this web page in IE6, or even IE8? IE doesn't properly support XHTML, and putting any effort in just stopping IE6 is just a missed opportunity to stop IE altogether.
