Today I brought my iBook - aptly named New_York - to work to see how easy it was to get it onto a wireless network. To start with the easy task I started with our own WiFi network, and not those of our neighbours. But adding my MAC address to the access point, rebooting and triple checking the WSP-PSK password didn't make it work. Maybe we need a TKIP somewhere... As a Mac user I decided the problem is like the WiFi router probably doesn't support Macs, because there can't be anything wrong with my iBook. It looks better than that WiFi router, so it's clear to see where the problem lies...
I hope things work out better Tuesday, when I'll be attending the iBook WiFi Gathering/Amsterdam.pm meeting.
And I need like a white CAT5 cable and mini-jack.
