Dutch Perl Workshop II
Saturday 26 February 2005 ◷ 17:31
I only overslept one hour (because I couldn't use the alarm of my P800 since the power adapter is currently not allocated very well). But I didn't get lost very badly in the Arnhem environment, so all I missed was the official opening of the workshop. The rest of the program I followed was:
- Tutorial Netwerk programmeren: now I know what a socket is.
- HTTP::Proxy: nice to play with
- Hoe en waar Perl te leren
- Wandeling door SpamAssassin internals: now I know how my mail @xs4all.nl is handled.
- Bliksempraatjes, now I want to have a project on Powered by Perl
- TestCover; een introductie in Test::More en Devel::Cover, my coverage on this talk is now 200%.
- iv - een Perl implementatie van een populaire plaatjeskijker: Tk is also nice to play around with.
At the aution I bought 2 more Perl Pocket References. The beer BOF was nice as usual, and overall this workshop thing is a solid event.
