Bad timing Bernie

Currently in the news "Ecclestone nennt Äußerungen
über Hitler 'Missverständnis'" and "Bundeswehr
bestellt 405 Schützenpanzer bei Rheinmetall". The
first article says that Bernie is a bit wrong
because "Die Gründe für die unter Hitler gesunkene
Arbeitslosigkeit lagen aber unter anderem in der
massiven Aufrüstung als Vorbereitung des Zweiten
Weltkriegs.", which translates to something like,
big deal, anyone can reduce unemployment in an
economic crisis by spending insane amounts on the
preparation for war. And the second article
mentions "Mit dem Serienauftrag werde
"hochentwickeltes wehrtechnisches Know-how in
Deutschland" und damit eine große Zahl von
Arbeitsplätzen langfristig gesichert.", which is
like saying, sure, spending 3 billion on military
equipment reduces unemployment, we're doing it
right now.

Just don't mention the war.
