Flashback

At the end of the year I always do a hardware check to see if all the old junk has survived another year: DDS-3 tape backups still functional, Jaz drive still OK (experimenting with encrypted disks in those), found out I have 3 NICs in 1 server for some reason, and my Ambra Sprinta 486 is also still usable. Combined the 486 with Abandonia.com and I spend some days with Flashback, Prince of Persia and Dune, which brought back some memories. It's a bit awkward to play those low-res games on a 19" screen but they still work. And they are another reason for me to consider not to buy a Wii, PS3 or Gaming-PC, or is a quad-core MacPro with 3TB diskspace more fun than something like Railroad Tycoon?
